ITC-3005 Channel Unit Test Cord
ITC-3005 Channel Unit Test Cord is designed to connect the
Transmission
Measuring Set directly to D3/D4 Channel units. Use on AT&T series
3&4 SLC 96 Channel Units and Reliance Comm/TEC's DISC*S DLC Special
Service.

Channel Access Unit.
- Can be used to measure noise as well as db levels.
- Allows for the specific selection of the line or drop side of a
channel.
- Provides an efficient means to send and receive data levels with
a Transmission Test Set.

APPLICATIONS
The Channel Unit Test Cord (CUT) is used by technicians to make
hook-ups and adjustments easier; quicker; and much more accurate.
Special Services and Loop Technicians are responsible
for making installation adjustments to SLC96 channel units per the
word document, putting the circuit's gain or loss within acceptable
limits. A transmission test set, Channel Access Unit, channel
extender and several hook-up cords were carried by the technicians
to make fine- tuned adjustments. Since this process was time
consuming and clumsy, technicians would often make "ball park"
adjustments in the channel unit and go on to the next service call.
The CUT Cord eliminates the need to carry the
additional equipment. The technician can just plug in the CUT Cord
to the channel unit and into their transmission measuring set,
making the process much more efficient.
NOTE: The ITC-JOO5 is also compatible
with RELIANCE COMM/TEC'S DISC*S DLC Special Services offerings; i.e.
providing the same benefits as when used with AT&T SLC96 Channel
Units.
